About

Once Upon a Farm is an organic baby food company founded in 2015 by Cassandra Curtis and Ari Raz. The company was established with a mission centered around two guiding principles:

  • Children should have access to food that is organic, fresh, clean, and real; and

  • Parents deserve options that are delicious, nutritious, and convenient.

Cassandra Curtis originally developed the first recipes in her own kitchen to feed her children, after realizing that no products available in grocery stores met her high standards for quality and nutrition.

Inspired by this mission, in 2017, industry veteran John Foraker—former leader of Annie’s and president of its operating unit at General Mills—joined forces with actor, philanthropist, and entrepreneur Jennifer Garner, alongside Cassandra and Ari, to build what they envisioned as the next-generation childhood nutrition company.

Since then, Once Upon a Farm has assembled a team of experienced Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) professionals known for challenging industry norms, creating an organization of talented and passionate individuals dedicated to success.

Today, Once Upon a Farm is driving systemic change in childhood nutrition by delivering real, organic, farm-fresh food made without added sugar, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. From a baby’s first bites to school-ready snacks, the company has become a rapidly growing leader in modern childhood nutrition—offering innovative, nutrient-rich, and delicious food solutions for busy parents and their children.
