About

Wealthfront provides financial services tailored for digital natives—individuals born after 1980—including Millennials and members of Gen Z.

Wealthfront is a different kind of FinTech company. It is a technology-driven organization that has built a financial solutions platform specifically for digital natives, defined as those born after 1980 (i.e., Millennials, Gen Z, and later generations). The platform is designed to meet the needs of wealth builders within these generations.

Wealthfront maintains differentiated and trusted relationships with its clients through unique and fundamentally aligned incentives. The company’s success is directly tied to the success of its clients.

As of July 31, 2025, Wealthfront had $88.2 billion in platform assets. On the same date, the company had over 1.3 million funded clients, who on average reported annual earnings of approximately $165,000. By comparison, U.S. employees reported average annual earnings of nearly $65,000, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics as of July 2025.
