Grupo Aeroméxico is uniquely positioned as the only full-service carrier (FSC) based in Mexico and the sole airline providing long-haul, wide-body service connecting Mexico with the rest of the world. The company offers a premium travel experience across both international and domestic destinations. As of June 30, 2025, Grupo Aeroméxico served every major city in Mexico and 52 international cities in 22 countries across multiple continents, including North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The airline maintains the most attractive route network in Mexico and is the leading carrier at Mexico City International Airport (MEX), the country’s largest and most capacity-constrained hub, accounting for 36.3% of all passengers flying within, to, and from Mexico during the twelve-month period ended June 30, 2025, according to the AFAC. Grupo Aeroméxico also has a strong presence in Mexico’s other major business centers, such as Guadalajara and Monterrey, where it provides global connectivity through long-haul intercontinental flights. In addition, the company maintains a significant footprint in high-demand leisure destinations, including Cancún and Puerto Vallarta. Grupo Aeroméxico is the only Mexican airline that is a member of one of the three major global airline alliances through its participation in SkyTeam—a global network of 18 international carriers—which the company co-founded with Delta more than 25 years ago.
