Arm Ltd is a UK-based chip designer, part of the Softbank Group. 
Arm products are used to manufacture chips produced by most of the world's largest semiconductor companies, including Intel, AMD, Nvidia and Qualcomm.
The company specializes in microprocessors for notebooks, desktops and servers

Arm plans to go public at a valuation of $70-$80 billion, a valuation that seems more than fair since Nvidia's $80 billion outright purchase of Arm only fell through because of an antitrust prohibition.

Nvidia, Intel, Apple and Samsung have already announced their desire to participate in the IPO of Arm at the current price, so the IPO of Arm has a very good chance of success.
